The food draws its inspiration from the nations surrounding Mediterranean Sea. Countries like France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Greece, Turkey have contributed to the variety of food. Sea food, poultry, red-meat, grains, beans and pastas forms major component of the food. The main flavour though is that of olive oil, that is used extensively. The food is generally baked or grilled.
Unlike other Mediterranean food joints in the city where meat forms a prominent part of the food, Tahini garden, is all about vegetables. They predominantly serve Italian and Lebanese food. The clutter free, spacious ambience, provides a perfect setting. The open kitchen adds to the ambience. Though the menu is not extensive, it has enough range of snacks from pastas, sandwiches, burgers to even a rice combination.

The dips here are worth trying. Baba Ganoush, is worth tasting. The paste is prepared with the combination of roasted eggplant (brinjal), tahini sauce, garlic and lemon juice. It is served with two pita breads.Tabouleh salad and a burger with roasted red bell peppers is also worth checking out. At the end if you are looking out for a mediterranean drink, go for ‘ayran’ prepared with yogurt and chopped mint leaves.
The pastas are the usual kind but are served, spicy. The spaghetti too is usual, but with a Moroccan twist – comes with saffron and chickpea.
