Progress on Pothole fill up in East and South Bangalore Areas

East Bangalore

Pothole fillup work will be undertaken from 12-9-2011 in the following wards of Bangalore East. Pulikeshi Nagar – Ward No 78: Mosque Road, M.M. Road, Heins Road, Netaji Road

S.K. Garden Ward No 61: Tannery Road, S.K. Garden Main Road, D.J. Halli Main Road, Bourbank Road

Kushal Nagar Ward No 31: Tannery Road, Kavalbairasandra Ward No 32: Kaval Bhairasandra Road, Sultanpalya Road, K.H.B Road.

Everyday about 125 to 150 potholes are being filled up and so far 765 are done. All the potholes will be filled up in the next 2-3 days.

Public can contact BBMP regarding any complaints/grievances about potholes in the above mentioned roads at 9480685220.

On 14 and 15-9-2011 pothole fillup work was undertaken in Langford Road, Double Road, Seppings Road, Palace Road, Rajbhavan Road, Cubbonpet Main Road, Jayamahal Road of Shantinagar, Shivajinagar, Sarvagnanagar, C.V Ramanagar, Pulikeshi nagar and Hebbal area.

South Bangalore

Work was also done in Kumaraswamy layout, Chikkallasandra, Hosakerehalli, K.R. Road, Kanakapura Road in Bangalore South. In Padmanabhanagar, around 989 potholes were identified, out of which 286 have been filled up and 703 are yet to be done.

Pothole fillups were done in J.C. Road, Lalbagh road, Sudhamanagar road, Bull temple road, Mariappa road, Siddapur, Lakkasandra, Kanakanapalya, Hombegowdanagar on 15-9-2011 in Chikkapet division. About 345 potholes are identified, 259 have been closed and 86 are under work. Similar work is being done in all other areas of Bangalore.
